Going to keep this ooc for now as it is simpler to process for me currently.

I just got back from the doctor where they gave me the latest results of the imaging.  The bad news is... many of the cancerous nodes have grown from 20-30 percent in size which means that chemo and my body are not keeping up with the growth rate of the demonic cancer.

The good news is that there is still hope in the form of new drug therapies based on PD-1/PD-L1 and the immune system.  These drugs "only" have a few side effects (other than extreme fatigue) which are all based around it causing the immune system to attack the victim's own body, such as colitis or other nastiness which can be very traumatic in its scope.

I had the first treatment of the PD-1 drug today.  Now it is a "wait and see" process

ScumFlash: HoF of HoF's April 2017

Thank you for the mails of asking me when the net HoF of HoF's would get posted. I hadn't forgotten. Yes yes, normally I do it in the first weekend of the month. But sadly I had actual work to do, instead of laying back waiting for something nice to complain about on the interwebs, like the rest of you.

Another Month, another bunch of work to give you your monthly standings. How to get on the HoF of HoF's you ask? Well, let me give you the rules ones more:

How to become part of the HoF of HoF's:
1. Be in a top 30 spot of HoF Heroes, HoF Fortress or HoF Pets
2. Be a member of the Severed Tongue

And that is all!

Interesting nonsense:

• For as long as this HoF of HoF's excists, Veriz aka The Spying Kitty with the Sharp Claws, has been firmly on top of it. Grog69 managed to get the two points back he lost last month, but is still far behind. Well... far behind... his gap to number 3 on the list, Aronszajn,  increased from 26 to 40 points.
• The Scumlord himself, who is still number 4 on the list, is getting closer to Aronszajn too, Decreasing the gap to only 4 points. Next month Aronszajn, next month...
• Then another surprise. Treak took back his number 5 spot from our favourite ScumSnake, Adder111. That itself is not saying that much. But he did it by Climbing 14 spots in the different HoF's and that is quite a jump indeed. Gratz on that Treak.
• So sadly for us, we again have 2 non Scum in the top 5. But with Son of Dog, Kanat and Jugger we still have 7 Scum in top 10. And ofcourse 50 Scum in top 101 ;)
• Newest addition to the HoF of HoF's is DjeDD  on spot 97 who skyrocketed to the 23rd spot of Fortress making him eligeble to be part of this mary band of misfits.
• Biggest regular climbers are Zloy with 13 spots, Gokuking and Endrega with 9 spots, Tofurkey (well done dude) and Quilp with 7 spots and Temprella with 6 spots.
• There are lots of players that gained 5 spots this month. ACGM and Dolgan Elfbane, to name a few (only naming Scum ofcourse ;) But I hereby give special gratz to Rido Fatesmiter. Seeing he not only climbed 5 spots this month, but already gained 9 spots last month. Come on Rido, top 25 is awaiting your arrival.
• Biggest loser this month is Nemaveto with 18 spots, but he stopped playing, so he doesn't care at all. And someone should wake up SlackerSilverlance, seeing he dropped 10 spots.
• Remember: No matter what your spot on the HoF of HoF's is, if you are member of the Severed Tongue you are already a winner Scum

ScumFlash: HoF of HoF's March 2017

Another month, another HoF of HoF's. Let's hope all the Scum has done better this month compared to the last one.

How to become part of the HoF of HoF's:
1. Be in a top 30 spot of HoF Heroes, HoF Fortress or HoF Pets
2. Be a member of the Severed Tongue

Easy Peasy, no?

Interesting nonsense:

• Veriz, aka Scumpet is still dominating the HoF of HoF's. She even enlarged her margin on Grog69, who is still firmly second, by two points.
• Top 4 is still exactly the same as the last two months. With the Scumlord gaining ONE WHOLE POINT on Aronsajin, who is the only non Scum in top 5, seeing Adder111 gained a spot.
• Biggest climbers this  month are two players that understood that all they had to do, if they can't be Scum. is get into a top 30 somewhere.  Ugro jumped to  23 by sneaking  to spot 30 of HoF Pets and Ice Breath jumped to  90 by doing the same in HoF Fortress. Well played guys, well played.
• Biggest regular climber is Iola by 10 spots, closely followed by Rido Fatesmiter with 9. You go Scum.
• Biggest loser of the mnth is Momie, dropping from 50 to 60.
• At the bottom of the list is still Wordplay. BUT he managed to gain 237 points (well, lose actually, you know, the lesser points the better) this month wich is very very impressive. Watch your back Venkman.

Blatherings from the Bilge

And so in the Year of Our Scumminess Two Thousand Seventeen did the being known as "The Green Menace" aka "the Towering Two Foot Gobbo" aka "What the HECK is THAT?" aka Alyxyn return unto the local House of Healing to an interview with the Chief Healer LoneRGon.  The reason for this visit was for the Chief Healer to deliver unto the goblin the results from the Seers that had checked his Demonically Infested Body the previous fortnight.  Much time had been spent by the Seers in their investigations and much fluid forced unto the gobbo in order to improve the visibility to the Seers.

Since that time, the Great Green One had waited nervously for word on the Demonic Spawn that he was hosting and how it was reacting to the attention of the Healers that were spending so much time, so many prayers and so much foul essences on his infestation.

The news this time is mixed.  In January, the Green One had caught something, probably in that Hall of Ill Repute known as the Scum's Guild Hall.  Whatever it was that he caught had pretty much laid him out for that month making it so that the Healers could not use their foul essences upon the Demon Spawn he bears.. for fear the essences would kill him in his overly weakened.  Due to this, expectations of the Seers was low.  However, what the Chief Healer had to report was that some of the Demon Spawn infesting the foul little goblin have continued to shrink.  Some have grown a bit, but that is to be expected with the lack of his exposure to the foul essences for an entire month.

The Chief Healer overall.. is optimistic.. but then.. of course he would be right?  If he were pessimistic, it is unlikely that the Green Menace would continue to donate to his Temple to reward the priests for their time and prayers.

Treatment continues and the Green Menace continues to stalk the streets as he can.

ScumFlash: HoF of HoF's February 2017 (new rules!)

Last month we did the first HoF of HoF's. This month we change the rules. We are Scum, we can do that!

Rules to be in HoF of HoF's:
1. Be in the top 30 spots of HoF Heroes, HoF Fortress or HoF Pets.
2. Be member of the Severed Tongue

Yes, that is right. From now on, every member of the Severed Tongue will always be in the HoF of HoF's. What is the point of having our own HoF if we aren't all in it right?

Interesting nonsense:

• The Top 4 is still the same as last month. Veriz and Grog69 still dominate.
• There are now 4 players that are in all 3 top 30's, seeing the Scumlord has advanced in Fortress just enough.
• Aronszajn is not the only non Scum in the top 7 anymore. Treak gained 3 spots passing 3 Scum on his way to the top, making him the second non scum player in top 8.
• Biggest climber this month: Quilp, who finally is doing his best in Fortress mode
• Most impressive new arrival, Tofurkey at spot 37 (as you said Tofu, consistency is key), closely followed by Nargoth at 39 and bman941 at 43
• Biggest loser this month, ToxicToast who lost 20 spots in just a couple of weeks (might have something to do with all the new Scum on the list ;)).
• Bottom of the List Wordplay. Come on dude, start gaining some spots
