Dungeon Party: Lost Angels (long overdue)

So, we went on a dungeon party a couple of weeks ago at Lost Angels and I didn't even post the pictures yet... I guess I was too surprised by the assasination attempt from NSA on Veriz. Especially the part where NSA failed...

Anyway... the dungeon party went really well.

D45 we let Veriz herself do the the honors on Fat Elke. Just because... yeah... sometimes you have to play nice...

D46: we always suspected WTFmybeer having a crush on his Mother-in-law. So we send them on a blind date. Can you feel the love?

D47: the moment Hym took over the party completely, Reaper man didn't stand a chance In the words of Veriz: "OMG, I didn't even expected we can win this one with 1st try"

and then at D48 it got crazy...

Hym kills one Scorpion

 Hym kills two Scorpions

D48: And apparently that wasn't enough for Hym so he beat the bloody Debugger's Doom too. Damnit Hym.. I can remember that freaking Debugger being so much trouble when we had to do it...

So as you can see, we managed to beat 4 dungeons and a demon portal. But that is not all. Someone wasn't paying attention when they hit the attack button.

WTFmybeer gets to kick Bad Muthas ass

And the Endless ass. Apparently  Endless likes to sit on Lost Angels on a daily basis. And why not? the guild is only 10 spots below them on the HoF. Now they lost 180 honors which equals for 9 bullies of 20 honor.. Endless, thou have fallen low...

To the partysquad: AAylia, Silverlance, Pick, Dolgan Elfbane, Reredrum, acgm, WTFmybeer, Nic1080 and Hym thank you. Hope you guys all had fun

DoB Dungeon Party

So... We went to Disciples of Beer for a Dungeon party. But no one took pictures... I guess it was very embarrasing.. Exactly what one would expect of a Dungeon Party at DoB...

All I know is that we helped beat D46 and D47 and almost beat D48... I guess some heads will roll over there ;)

Thanks for the beer DoB (seriously, did we get beer???), I was told it was fun while it lasted

ScumFlash: Big Boss Is Dead (start fade out music)

That was quite some strange month. But in the end everybody got their account back (Woopy will rejoin the guild today). It has been an interesting race to be the first to beat D50: At the Big Boss's Place until that point.

It took us two attampts today. The first one failed because we had 4 MIA's (bad bad scum) especailly becasue we got stuck at 4%... I mean... come on... that is like on fart from Quilp, or one less cheaty block from The Boss... For the second attempt we managed to set up a whole lot of us to actually fight the endboss. But The Boss blocked Quilp's hits so often that it started to look like the RNG was fixed. Luckily Quilp never goes down in a fight that is fixed! He gets all stubborn and shit... And, well... it showed.

Big Boss Is Dead

Gratz all on beating D50. So we weren't the first to beat D50, by a day or two. You know what, with all that has happened over the last month, it still feels like we won the race. A big thank you to Kraggori for stepping in, in absence of Woopy. And if you, dear reader, were one of the few who didn't check in for this final guilddungeon... NO STICKERS FOR YOU ;)

Now for that fade out music. This always seemed like the perfect "fade out" music. Just change the lyrics to "Big Boss Is Dead" and turn up the volume instead of slowly down. Yes, yes, click on me I am a link ;)

ScumFlash: 49 down 1 to go.

A couple of weeks ago we beat D48, Betty squashed the bug with ease and  Quilp was very upset he wasn't invited to the party.

So especially for him we did an attempt on D49 the same day. Sadly he was so upset that he forgot to kill the AI...

That was pretty much the last time our check in was decent... untill today that is (booh at the lowlives who still  missed the check in). And when the check in is decent we can even beat the damned RNG!!!

Scum is the first to beat D49 on this server. Only one to go!!

DungeonParty: In the Vegetable Garden

And there we have it. We have been close before, but until now Mother in Law kept us at bay. Today though, our huge dungeonparty finally paid off and
(mumblemumblemumble)
What?
(mumblemumbleMUMBLE)
What do you mean there was no dungeonparty? That dungeon didn't beat itself you know...
(MUMBLEmumblemumble)
You mean to say we did it all by ourselves? COOL!!!

We were told we wouldn't be able to do it by ourselves. Hell, we aren't even the biggest guild when it comes to total levels and average player level. So how were we supposed to beat the Mother in Law... But here is proof!!!

Quilp IS uglier then the Mother in Law!!!

Congratulations scum. With beating D46: In the Vegetable Garden, we caught up again, and it only took us a couple of weeks. And unless you were one of the slackers, some of you could add quite some dungeon stickers to your scrapbook today.

Now let's make sure WE are the first ones to beat D47-D50. That being said, does anyone know a nice location for a dungeonparty?

A Very BIG Thank You

At Zenith, we were blessed with the help of Quilp, DOLGAN ELFBANE, Ninastar, Woopydoo, Zimmi, AAylia, Rido Fatesmiter, Tofurkey, Nanouchka and Italos from TST. We also had another special guest Pike. As Ghetto has mentioned, we were at D32 and made it up to D44! It was a hell of a good ride.
We did have some members that did not check in on a regular basis but I gave AAylia full authority to do as she wishes to "the minion." Hope she enjoyed herself.
Would also like to thank Ghettoforce for lending out his Scum to us for a week. Usually these dungeons last a couple of days and everyone is back home but this was exceptional. So I would like to give you all a dagger from all of us.

May it find a well suited place in someones back.

Thanks Again Scum,

Lord Judicator - Zenith

DungeonParty: Zenith bonuses skyrockets

Well, that was a very good party. It took forever. But man, you guys beat a lot of dungeons. Amazing what only 10 of you can add. When the party went to Zenith they were at D32 with 164% bonuses. At the end of the party they are facing D45 (wich will take a very long time before you will be able to beat it...) with 188% bonuses.

+24% in one week.. not bad...

Sadly... no pictures at all (lazy bastards), but that at least means I don't have to try and make it funny. And it saves Narcipoofufu from groaning at my attempts

Enjoy the boost Zenith, now go out and make good use of it.

ScumFlash: The Long Overdue Post

And there we finally have it. "The Long Overdue Post". Lot's has been happening, both in game and in Real Life and I managed to not post about any of it yet.

First of all, we lost a couple of members over the past couple of weeks. Rizzo34, MaxPower, Srike and Kossar have all silently left us. STOP DOING THAT!!! Seriously... tell us when you are leaving us, so we can at least say goodbye.

We had two new recruits too. Italos, a level 248 mage with a nicely filled scrapbook of almost 98%. Apart from his choice of weaponry he looks like a true adept of Quilp the halfway evil. And Elvix our newest smallest member (don't worry Veha, you are still our favourite mascot) also a mage who seriously needs to get rid of his Cow and get himself at least a Cat. Elvix is living proof (for now anyway) that even if you don't fit the requirements we have set for new members, a well written request does wonders to make me forget all about them. Welcome to both.

We been to Endless to help them beat D45, wich in the end proved to be too easy. Quilp didn't even get to fight (good show Buede old friend), and take a crack at D46

Endless returned the favour the week after to help us beat D45. We had to do two attempts. The check in for the second attempt was worse then the first one but we were so much more lucky, our warriors actually blocked and our scouts actually evaded this time... And Quilp finally got his chance at the Tub of Lard we know as Fat Elke.

Ofcourse we tried D46 for ourselves too. But with the dungeon party guests already leaving and our ranks severely thinned out we had not much of a chance there. I'm sure it will take quite some time before we see the endboss In the Vegetable Garden.

And of course currently we are at Zenith helping them up their dungeon count by a lot. At this moment 4 down and working on the 5th, with a lot of Scum in reserve even though Zenith is very lousy at checking in during these past couple of days. I haven't seen any pictures yet so those will have to wait until the next post.

Well that should keep you lowlifes occupied for a while. I know how much trouble you have with these letter thingies, especially when they're made into words longer then 4 letters, or even worse sentences...

Dungeonparty: The GSO chronicles (Upd II: D34)

And there we were: Dolgan, Woopy, Nina, Iola, Mistres AA, Lord Hair (aka Kamisama), the mighty Oak and the ScumLord Himself entered the great halls of GSO. (although, let's be honest, not near as grand as the one in The Severed Tongue, but at least a lot cleaner...). Little did we know at that time that GSO actually managed to haul in enough booze to stupor us all (hell, even Quilp wouldn't have been able to empty all those flasks in one night.

When we finally woke with the largest headache we had in a long long time (I guess we got careful about drinking these quantities when Alyxyn or Ciciz are around these days...) we noticed we we're pretty much all alone. Those silly guys went to do a dungeon without us.

We rushed down just in time to see Hym being smacked down by the Archdemon of Confusion. After Oak and AAylia finally stopped rolling on the floor in laugher we hauled them all back out and splashed some water over them to get them ready for the next attempt.

D31: The topsy-turvy world
Ofcourse it was Iola to beat the Archdemon of Confusion again. But then again, she is confusing as hell herself and had practice in kicking his ass.

D32: Harbringers of the Dead
In a great match between the two valkyries it shouldn't be a big surprise that it was Ninastar who won the battle. Without even breaking into a sweat I might add. After all... She always comes back for more...

Anyway, we are preparing for D33: The Predators' Feast in a couple of hours. I'm nursing a couple of nasty bumps from the last two encounters and I just saw Kamisama shampooing his hair like a madman... (that might had something to do with the evil grin on AA's face though...) but I'm sure we'll easily manage 3 or even 4 more. Take care of home. I'm sure we're gonna need lots of sleep when we come back.

UPDATE I:

D33: The Predators' Feast
Good thing Woopy couldn't see this. Although I'm sure he rather had a patch over his nose... man... even while unconscious I could smell the bad breath of that Big-Mouth of Doom. That being said Dolgan Elfbane has been moody. He said he wanted to stay sober for this fight so he could show us how it was done... only to being forced to sit at the sideline doing nothing... sober... Yeah, he is really moody.

UPDATE II:

D34: Monkey Business
Nothing fixes a bad mood like a good game of ping pong. See that happy glare in Dolgan's eyes? Let's just say that Ping Pong is currently missing some balls.

Birthday Bashes & More (Oct. 6)

Valley of Awful XP
Condolences to you scum. For you have reached an epic level, but will have to beat many dungeons to get out of this XP Valley.

Nice Round Numbers
Congratulations to you scum, your level looks nice and round.
  • 310 – Quilp
  • 240 – Srike
  • 240 – Valind
  • 240 – Scrubby
  • 240 – Neithe
  • 230 – Nanouchka

95% Club
No new members this week.

Random Data of the Week
Something Important to get you through the week.
  • 49 Scum
  • With D43 and D44 beaten our holiday home is completely decorated now
  • That means 26 dungeons beaten in just two weeks.
  • That means loads of gold donated and loads of scum checking in.
  • Let's see how D45 goes here and then let's fight our way back to the top of the HoF

Oh, you wanted to see the pictures too? Here we go!
D43 Ragorth the Bandit: As we can very clearly remember, Ragorth the Vengeful likes to cheat. But we've gotten a bit bigger since last time. This time it is Badness to slap him back to reality. Thank you for that Badness.

D44 Slobba the Mudd: And here we finally are again. Back to our cozy guildstats of 188%. And if Dolgan has to turn a Slobba the Mudd into a real fatty stain in the process, then so be it. (am I the only one surprised that apparently the dungeons don't have their own name anymore?)

DungeonParty: Climbing back to the top III (Update D42)

We're almost back at our normal guildstats and we didn't even had to really try yet. Silly game is silly.

Sorry, no funny attempts today, maybe tomorrow. Don't forget to say hi to Nanoucka while you are here.

D39 The Old Cemetery: Where the werewolf got wooped by Woopydoo.

D40 Primordial Beasts: Dolgan gives the Crococpter a stare till he runs away, I wonder who the primordial beast is here.

UPDATE I: D41 and D42
D41 The Black Magic Mountain: I can imagine Dolgan leaving Gripcut the Ghastly to Woopydoo... damn she is ugly...

D42 Gragosh's Dread: The empty stare of Dolgan Elfbane against the fiery eyes of Grogosh the Destroyer and you wonder who would win? Seems like some of our scum won't be able to come in action till we hit D45 again. Woopy and Dolgan are not very sharing at the moment.

Dungeonparty: Climbing back to the top II (Update: D38)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand we're back. We'll I am anyway. Seems I have missed quite some dungeons over the past couple of days. I'm sure there have been lots of giggles and jolly backstabbing. Oh Narc, I have a message from Minnie Mouse, she wants her dresses back.

Twenty down Six more to go.

D33 The Predators' Feast: I can't remember the last time I saw r34lg33k so happy. I guess it is a tranny lover thing that sets off whenever you come near big mouths... (tis your call if you want to add "of Doom" to that statement) or was it Adam's apples...

D34 Monkey Business: This is the first dungeon Redwood18 had to step in. And I'm not sure if it is my sick mental health, or she just gave Ping Pong a double nipple twister....

UPDATE I: D35 and D36

D35 The Booger population: Here we can see the power of checking in. More scum check in and g33k can play hero of the day again. That or r34lg33ks attraction to man-holes is even bigger then we already suspected...

D36 Dodging the Blade: I call cheats on Woopydoo. How in the hell can someone dodge all those blades Shniva is whirling around when you're not even a scout AND wearing eye patches for being blind. And don't say the force was with him, because I would have known...

UPDATE II: D37 and D38

D37 In the Dark of the Night: Sometimes I have the feeling we're doing these dungeons backwards... I'm not sure how many scum Dolgan Elfbane had to bribe to not check in, but that is the only reason I can come up with why he had the chance to get rid of the AfterDarkor. Sure, they're rumored to sleep on a bed of hallucinogenic fungi bu.... oooooh... now I get it... I hope it was worth it Dolgan, you KNOW that stuff rots your brain right?

D38 Asocial combuston Point: See... this looks far more likely. Although I doubt if anyone would call Iola Asocial (I wouldn't, she scares the hell out of me...). And surprise surprise Blue beats Red. That being said, I have the feeling that mr Armored Fire Dragon hasn't realised yet what happened to him. Something about an Ass, Iola's heavy boots and lot's of kicking I'm sure.

Dungeonparty: Climbing back to the top (Update: D22)

The fun thing about doing some dungeons again is that it shows how easy it is now while you can clearly remember how hard they were the first time we attempted them. Another fun part about it is, that some of our smaller scum can be a hero for a change.

Four Down TwentyTwo to go

D19 Extraterra IV: Look at the smug face on Srike as he beats The Thing like it is nothing at all.

D19 Extraterra IV: Look at the scared face on Moora. Wich is silly, cause she just killed her 12th Illegal Alien and is starting on number 13 in this picture. Impressive Moora, keep it up :)

UPDATE I: D20

D20 Path to Hell: We had a lot more scum who were able to join this time, and it is good to see they actually did. This time it was Wraithform who got to murder the most dungeonbaddies, 5 not bad. See being the smalles to check in has it's benefits(yes Rizzomoron, that could have been you ;). But I must say I find it very funny that it is again Srikes smug face that is the last one to be seen in D20. Sometimes you just are on the right place at the right time.

UPDATE II: D21

D21 Hellish Hell: (ooooooh, so THAT is why the previous dungeon was called "Path to Hell"). It seems we are getting better, OR scum gets really pissed off by Srike showing off and having all the spotlight for himself! Wraitform (yep, Rizzo is still not able to attack because he is a silly lowlife) managed another 10 kills and bakryu made sure he killed the Zombie Berserker before Srike got the chance to join in the battle. On the other hand... it kinda looks like bakryu has a tummy ache and that zombie berserker used to be his lunch...

UPDATE III:

Sometimes I really wonder what is wrong with this guild...

UPDATE IV: D22

D22 The Petting Zoo of Death: Am I the only one that finds this a disturbing picture? I mean, come on Scrubby... that is no way to treat pussy... We also had Rizzo in action today (finally), sadly he only managed two bad boys, while Wraithform managed to slaughter 7 again (I think someone has been working out). And slowly the dungeons are getting stronger. We're already had to use 10 scum for this one... ;-)

Dungeonparty: Shades of Grey (Update V: D32)

Tofurkey, Oswalt, AAylia, Dolgan Elfbane and Ninastar. Remember those names scum, because these are the names that will go down in history of slaying some dungeonbosses at Shades of Grey.

The button for D29: Crypt of the Undead has been pushed and now the waiting game has begun. Let''s hope the check in is good this time so we can forget the episode with D28: Cave of Graverobbers from a couple of months ago.

Keep an eye on the blog if you want to see what''s happening! Oh, and check the poll Tofurkey put up!

Update I: Dungeon 29 has been beaten. Nine Shades not checked in for this one (I understood it was an unusual attack time for them) and with Elgaraen getting all the finishing fun again,  Dolgan and Nina are still waiting at the sidelines. That sounds like there are more possibilities there. The button for D30: The Emperors Fighting Guard has been pushed, so lets see how that one goes.

UPDATE II: That is two down

UPDATE III: Apparently D31 failed due to bad check in (did not receive a screenshot this time) but was very close. So they're trying again. *crosses fingers*

UPDATE IV: And we have another win. proving the power of checking in... This time the check in was a lot better, wich resulted in Ninastar waiting at the sidelines again. D32 will be tough, but I''m sure that it is doable if everybody at Shades checks in and potions up. Good luck all!

UPDATE V: Sadly D32 couldn't be beaten this time (haven't got a screenshot again). As far as I understood it was VERY close indeed (see Lavidavi's post below). We said we would stay at Shades till the weekend, so scum has been returning home. Too bad it wasn't on a win. Better luck next time scum. Good luck to you Shades and thank you for giving some of our lowlifes a short holiday. We'll be seeing you around, don't forget to beef up, I'm sure we'll meet again.

ScumFlash: Dungeonparty Zenith

D31: Ninastar looking the Archdemon of Confusion straight in the eyes... You see why he is called that. He clearly has no idea why he has been beaten with almost 1/3d of the guild not checked in.

D32:  Sometimes it just isn't your day. The check in was a bit better, but still very dissapointing. And Valkyries are just plain evil and when they say no they really mean no!

Zenith will do another attempt on D32 today. Let's hope the not check inners wake up and help out. This dungeon is beatable if everybody over there helps out.

ScumFlash: Future Dungeonparties

As you all know, some of us will go out to attend a dungeonparty at Zenith this week (A big thank you to Badness, Ninastar, Dolgan Elbane and Iola for volunteering). Ofcourse we’ll keep you up to date about their heroic deeds while there on this very blog.

We’ve been on quite some dungeonparties in the past and a lot of you have participated over the years, so you might remember how much fun they could be. Seeing our own dungeon is so hard to crack that we decided to only attempt them once a month we have some “free” weeks.

When Lord Judicator  from Zenith asked me if we could help them with some dungeon attempts it occurred to me… “Why not turn this into a the Severed Tongue tradition again?” What if we would reach out and help some other guilds to beat them a bit earlier so they too can enjoy the guild bonuses  a bit more and level a bit faster. In the end it will be more entertaining for us too.

There would be some basic rules that we can work out further later, if a big enough group of lowlifes agrees with the idea, like:
  • A Dungeonparty crew contains about 4 or 5 scum
  • We don’t join in attacking other guilds, but we’ll help defend if we are able
  • We won’t pay for the dungeons, but we’ll donate our leftovers like we do at home
  • Everybody that wants to go should have a chance to go to a party
  • Dungeon raids should start Wednesdays
  • Every partygoer is back  before the weekend starts (in case of specials)
  • Etc.

So for the next two weeks we’ll have a poll: “Would you like the idea of members of our guild going on a dungeonparty on a regular basis? “ Let your voice be heard and if you have better ideas then by all means let us know.

FreshScumFlash: Surprise Guest!

WHAHAHAHAHA!!! We have finally done it! We managed to turn the unturnable. Yes ladies and scum, it took some trickery though. Pretending he had left the game for many many months, but in the end he finally became what he always was… Scum!

Don't look so surprised, everybody knew Beanhead III was a closet scumcase ready to come out. Even Dar knew, deep inside his heart! So welcome to Bean. A level 240, non mounted (he'll have to work on that), Warrior with a scrapbook of  98.24%. He is not a complete idiot (the doctor said pieces are still missing) but he probably hasn't found the toiletkey yet (new game feature Bean).

I'm very glad he joined us. He may not be the biggest warrior out there, but he sure as hell is a great person that will boost chattyness in guildchat (you have been warned). The downside is, with Bean here, we probably will never manage to get an Endlesseer to post a weekly column on the scumbase...

This is also a good spot to welcome back our Dungeonpary from My Little Pwnies. Badness, Iola, Zimmi, Pizzar, R34lg33k and Magnumpower have done their best to help Pwnies to beat some dungeons. In the end the check in wasn't even remotely close to good and they managed only one. But Hey, check out Iola having fun with that War Ogre of War...We'll be back Pwnies!

And last but not least, congratulations to Bain, for being the first one on this server to hit 300.000 honor. Proving that crashing with a helicopter doesn't need to be bad for your Shakes & Fidget career at all!

Dungeonparty: Zenith D25 - D30 (Update D30)

Looks like the Zenitheers and our Scum are having a great time so far.

D25: Here you can see Grandmother Z playing  with the "creatures" at the Monster Kindergarten

D26: And here you can see our Blind Bat Joe facing one of the more mellow horrors in the form of Bat Hags.

D27: G33k showing his love for trannies at the Wild monster party. Look at those ogre brothers go. They didn't stood a chance against r34lg33ks dance moves though.

D28: Here Woopydoo shows Ungarth that it isn't the size of the weapon, but what you do with it that is important. The poor merciless soul will probably never get over it. Oh well, can't say we have much sympathy for graverobbers anyway.

D29: Iola told me she felt quite at home when she was fighting that cybernetic zombie in the crypt of the undead. But then, she IS into steampunk. Look at her evil grin as she finishes the masterpiece of frankensteinesque steampunk. Badness is still bored out of his mind though...

D30: Sometimes Iola isn't very nice. She saw metal and decided it was hers to take down. She knew Badness was getting rusty and wanted some action too, but clearly she didn't care. Yep, sometimes she is not nice at all.
