What do you mean these polls are suppose to be regular? Truth is, I just felt like I was making all the other writers look bad so I let my poll slide for a week or so. Yeah.... that's it.
X-Men for the win! Certainly a trilogy I enjoyed but with to many quibbles to get my vote. A close runner up with the new Batman series, and who can argue with that? Those movies amaze me. Many bad selections got no votes, and thank goodness... some of those movies are just terribad. Having said that, whoever voted for TMNT.... I <3 you.
As someone who has spent thousands and thousands of dollars on comic books, this poll was very hard to vote for.
ReplyDeleteThe TMNT movies were great, all 4 of them.
I could not in good conscience vote for X-Men, because despite enjoying the first two immensely, they were VERY bad movies.
Nolan's Batman movies have been fantastic and very comic faithful.
I had to vote for Iron Man, though. Robert Downey Jr is just too perfect as Tony Stark. Very, very excited for Avengers.
Also, I think the new Spider Man is going to absolutely blow the last 3 away. Spidey as a teenager is way more exciting than Spidey as a college student.
I hope so. I actually didn't really care for the spider-man series as is. But I'm a harsh critic, and admittedly, not much of a comic reader. Probably a good thing, as I hate movies that are adapted from books. I'm pretty excited for the final batman movie though.

I would vote for tactical nuclear pinguin... but I already stated in an earlier poll that I didn;t consdier that to be real beer... so no go. Holy handgrenade, although an hilarious find, still reeks too much of religion. Flying sheep put you to sleep... Ducttape is reserved for Rev only. Ak-47 is for sissies... Chainsaw, I haven't seen a zombie in a long time (not counting Narc). So I think I have to go with the teachings of Gob Bushsniper (what a surprise...)

I would have submitted a losing entry, Spawn! the horrible movie it has been, the great comic it used to be & the rather awesome anime series it .. spawned! would also like the occasion of taking a leak on Daredevil, yuk! TMNT & Xmen.. sorry i was waaay to high to retain any memorable feeling, which leaves the door open for... Batman! who's batarang ended up in Spawns forehead =)
