Scum don't know NOTHING!

It is true, we are a happily ignorant lot. That must be why we didn't even know how a raven is like a writing desk1. Actually, our esteemed leader even queried "... what is a writing desk?" Kind of makes a scum proud to have such knowledgeable leadership. We did know one important thing though -- we scum didn't understand the purpose of either2. Hey, at least if you know your ignorant that's half the battle right?

How is a raven like a writing desk?
Because Poe wrote on both
4 (23%)
Because it slopes with a flap
0 (0%)
Because it can produce a few notes
0 (0%)
Because they both come with inky quills
3 (17%)
Because Scum doesn't understand the purpose of either
10 (58%)

1You do know it is a joke right? For more enlightening... read this

2Points to the 4 scum who knew who Poe was. Assuming you didn't think I misspelled poor :)

  3. Actually, seeing it is a riddle without an answer, the "Because Scum doesn't understand the purpose of either" option IS the most correct one ;-)

And please tell me where I can buy a beer fetching robot, already got a roomba.

  4. Ghetto, I would have linked it, but I couldn't figure out how to in a poll:

How is the Roomba? I've often been tempted but figured it probably didn't work that well.

  6. The first one we had was a mondaymorning model (had to send it back 3 times before they replaced it with one that actually worked). And uring our last holiday I was so stupid to unplug the recharger, and apparently that killed the batteries, so waiting to get a new battery pack for it.

But the 2 years between that he was a very helpful pet. Just turn him on when you're leaving for an hour or longer and he does his thing while you''re not there. The amount of dust we have now on higher surfaces (it broke down a couple of months ago) is WAY higher then when we had a working roomba that did its job 4 or 5 times a week.
